During my family's multiple visits over the past year to Dr. Lefever's office, Dr. Lefever has not been present in her own office seeing patients. Instead, a nurse practitioner, Jill Northover, sees the patients. Ms. Northover is all too quick to write multiple prescriptions without making solid diagnoses or referring patients to specialists in order to obtain diagnoses of complicated medical issues. Ms. Northover uses a trial and error approach by throwing multiple drugs at symptoms in the hopes that something will work and by having patients return frequently for follow-up and more prescriptions rather than using the expertise of specialists to assist in the diagnoses and development of treatment plans. We do not recommend.
