Dr. Nancy Nesbitt Nagle, MD

Do yourself a favor and pass on this pulmonologist. After being her patient for 6 months, she never once listened to my lungs and did not let me have any input in my care or treatment. She misdiagnosed me with asthma and said my severe coughing and chest pain was due to my sarcoidosis and basically shrugged me off, even though I came to an appt. in tears with pain and continued coughing. I had to bring it to her attention that after my bronchoscopy my cytology report showed I had a strong bacteria in my lungs in addition a virus. She was oblivious to the report that I received through Integris. Then she wasn’t going to treat me even though I was having severe symptoms and barely treated me which did not resolve my symptoms. After leaving her office without relief I had to go to the ER that night for symptom relief. After begging her for a follow up CT scan she finally after 2 weeks scheduled one for me after she realized I was looking to have my records sent to another pulmonologist.… I went and had the CT of my chest on sept. 3 and the radiologist report indicated I had atypical pneumonia and that I should be treated and then have a follow up CT after treatment. I suspect, with all the pain and coughing I’ve had over the last 6 months was pneumonia all along and could have been treated and I could have avoided pain and suffering if my pulmonologist had been more attentive and had more compassion for my suffering instead of acquiring more money for more doctor visits. I have yet to receive a phone call regarding my test results from Nagle’s office or to treat me and it’s been 2 weeks since my CT and a week since I received my result via Integris and me website. Not that I will ever go back and see her, but it’s pretty alarming that it’s confirmed I have pneumonia that needs treatment and still have painful symptoms and a pulmonologist that obviously couldn’t care less for my health or quality of life. My family practice doctor is doing a better job in my treatment.

Dr Nagle has given me care above and beyond!! For more than 10 years, Dr. Nagle has been involved in every aspect of my health care; referring me to others when needs arose and consulting with all doctors involved in my health care. She is proactive; listens to me; respects me and my family; answers all our questions and concerns. Her staff is exceptional!

I read the previous review of her staff being rude. That's hard for me to believe. I have been a patient of Dr. Nancy Nagle's for nearly two years. She and her staff are always so pleasant! Every patient is greeted by name upon checking in. Tracy her Nurse, always is very helpful in person and over the phone. As well as the other staff. I highly recommend her as a Physician! I could go on and on about this office.

Dr Nagel has proven to me to be an excellent doctor. Extremely knowledgeable. And a very positive upbeat bed side manner. Never in a hurry and very respectful.

I just love her patient care, and bedside manner recently however she has a new "receptionist", said she was a medical assistant, never spoke to anyone so rude, told me I had the flu, and I want to Urgent care, Strep, I have no idea why this CMA is so angry all the time, but is a good reason not to return. As a cancer patient, I do not believe that an MA should be diagnosing on the phone,

I love Dr. Nagle, I appreciate the fact that she is direct and truthful with me at every visit. She has helped me learn how to manage my asthma and saved my life really.

Dr. Nagle was highly recommended by my gynecologist. And he does not recommend fellow doctors unless they are first-rate, and he is personally knowledgeable to their patient skills and competence. Dr. Nagle has always spent significant time with me on my visits. She explains everything succinctly and patiently answers every question and addresses any and all my concerns. She correctly diagnosed me with sleep apnea which was beginning to affect my daytime oxygen levels, and sent me to a sleep lab for testing. Her office was helpful in making sure I received correct equipment and connecting me with a vendor. Her office also coordinated paperwork when I had to visit a follow up doctor in another state due to my work schedule. Everyone there has been very pleasant and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. In fact, I told her at a visit today that I hope she never retires! Yes. She’s that good.

She treated my uncle a few years back. She was rude, ignored his complaints, acted as if he was overreacting. My uncle was special needs and was never treated with the respect he deserved. I would never suggest this doctor to anyone.

I had the fortune of being referred to Dr. Nagle after my long-distance running took an extreme hit and I failed an asthma test with my primary care. Dr. Nagle was thorough in explaining the nature of my asthma. She understood my goals (to be healthy and to be a successful runner again) and helped me to achieve these. She is extremely intelligent and through. Her office staff were helpful; even though they were going through the stress of an office move, they where kind and took the time to help me get my new patient paperwork and insurance sorted, and to help me feel comfortable addressing my medical concerns there.
