Dr. Nancy Lynn Nichols, MD

Just loved Dr. Nichols and miss her so much since she left Providence . I followed her from CHAS to Providence. She's the best doctor I've had . Hope to have another one like her someday .

I appreciated the recommendations she gave on how to improve my health. I highly recommend her as a doctor.

I felt like Dr Nichols did not take my concerns seriously, and often talked about herself instead of me and recommended things based off her own experiences with trying them instead of medically or scientifically. She also was not knowledgeable about one of the topics I wanted to to discuss with her (cancer). This was my first time seeing this Doctor and I left the appointment feeling very uncomfortable and somewhat attacked for my opinions. I considered going back for my follow-up appointment, but after careful consideration I have decided that I would not trust Dr Nichols to handle my care in the future and will be finding a new provider. There has also been lack of organization, as I have requested the same medications be filled three times in the last week, and that still has not been completed entirely. The receptionist team is also consistently rude on the phone AND in person.

Don't bother seeing this person. She makes up diagnoses without testing, doesn't listen to you and has a total lack of empathy. Cannot recommend staying away more highly. She is the kind of doctor that makes you wonder her motivations for going into medicine.

Almost all the adult members of my family go to Dr. Nichols. She is a great doctor for me and I think I have a lot of health issues including diabetes. I don't like CHAS very much, but I like her.

I have private insurance so I didn't have to go to CHAS. I only went there because of Dr.Nichols.

First of she talks down to you like you don't know what she is talking about...She tells you that she is going to change your meds in the right way and never does...if you go in for an apt with a specific reason of why you are there she wont do what was needed and then you will get a call from her MA stating that you need to make ANOTHER appointment to be seen for the reason you have already discussed with her. She doesn't remember a thing that you tell her...she will ask you who prescribes a certain med to you and when you say she does she looks at you like your crazy! I would NEVER recommend this person to anyone not even my worst enemy!
