Dr. Nancy Pan, MD

My child has been with Dr. Pan for sometime. I found Dr. Pan to be an out of the box thinker. She takes all input into consideration: Mother and Child. This is a good sign for a patient seeking any specialist. Furthermore, she follows through with research, peer reviews etc. to ensure she is headed down the right path. The world of rheumatic disease is extremely complicated. I find that what I have treasured most at HSS and with Dr. Pan is their commitment to teasing out those intricacies and taking measured steps to ensure the best care of the patient. She is careful and thoughtful and usually right on point. I want a dr. who will listen, research and then suggest. Rather then jump to conclusions. It has been almost 6 years since my daughter had been diaginosed with a rare and complicated disorder. It has been a very hard road but rewarding. Her quality of life has increased 10 fold and her outlook is bright. With a decrease in medicine, not an increase. It has been a… very rewarding journey with HSS, Dr. Pan and her staff.

No clear diagnostic skills. Just runs playbook. No intuition. Possibly leads one into heavy perscriptives needlessly. Not a fan.

I had a bad experience. Id prefer not to be identified, but giving advice to other people looking for a good doctor. I wont be seeing this one again.
