Dr. Sassower is an outstanding doctor who is very smart and helpful. Maybe the best doctor I've had. She keeps detailed electronic records that make everything more efficient and ensures nothing gets lost.

I had an appointment with Dr. Sassower for over 3 months. The day before the appointment, less than 24 hours, I received a call saying that since I was a new patient, the appointment would be cancelled. I told them I had the appointment for 3 months and I would be there the next day, at the scheduled time. They said they would check with the Dr. to see if she would take me on as a patient. They called back and said that she would not see me; she was too busy. I believe a dedicated doctor would have honored the appointment, seen me, and then sent my records to the doctor of my choice. As I said, not a dedicated doctor. Also, Lakeshore Medical's staff is horrible; I found them to be rude and obviously unprepared.

Doctor Sassower has a great bedside manner, is thorough, intelligent and trys to completely understand your ailment. She works with you to find a solution and has excellent follow-up. The best PCP I have ever had.
