Dr. Nancy Jane Walker, MD

Very busy office, I had to wait 3 months. My care has been excellent. Dr. Walker and her nurse Mary Ann are wonderful and very responsive when I call for refills or need an injection. I have also seen Amy and think that she is really good too.

Dr. Walker basically told my to go to PCP for help with my Fibromyalgia. Acted very uncaring. Everything I read and what other Dr’s tell me it’s best to get help from Rheumatoid Doctor. I thought a female Dr. would be more compassionate. Running tests, I’ll see how my next appointment goes.

Dr. Nancy Walker is an absolutely excellent, brilliant, caring doctor. Her background experience with arthritis is amazing, and her skills at diagnosing are top-notch. Thanks to her and the practice she is affiliated with (in Wyomissing), I am able to walk, teach college, travel abroad, and exercise at the gym without anyone even suspecting I have RA, a chronic condition that can be super debilitating and exhausting. Her practice is on the cutting edge with clinical trials, too, for patients who qualify. Best of all, whenever I need help--like when a flare occurs or I need authorized refills for my meds, I make just one call and Dr. Walker and her assistant are tending to my needs right away. Reading-Berks County residents should know how VERY blessed they are to have Dr. Nancy Walker available to them. She listens. She cares. She is thorough. So grateful to her!

This practice is not practical when dealing with new clients. Their customer service is definitely rated an F. Don't waste your time here.

Great doctor and person.Takes time to answer any questions.Makes sure you understand everything about your condition, tests.Very thorough.Very personable.Have had to call & leave messages on nurse's voicemail-expected nurse to call back & was surprised when Dr. Walker called me (within 2 hours both times & not emergencies).My RA is now under control & I couldn't be happier with my rheumy.The office is also run very efficiently.
