Dr Nancye McCowan is the best dermatologist in this area!

I AM IN FATUATED WITH HER BRILLIANT MIND. I HAD SUN CANCER ON MY CHEEK. SHE SHAVED IT WITH A CREDIT CARD EVASIVELY NO KNIFE. I SAW SOMEONE ELSE WHO LOST 1/2 HIS NOSE. I CAN STILL SHAVE. MY HAIR EVEN GREW BACK... LOL GOT TO LOVE HER.

Unacceptable! Had to wait over 2 months for an appt., thinking I was going for a full body checkup. Then when I arrived, I was told I was there for only one thing and would have to made another appt. for the checkup. I was taken back to the room by a resident who informed me that he and Dr. McGowen would be back in after I put on the gown. I was not asked if the resident could be present, just told. So, I asked that he not be present. I made the appt. with a female doctor because I did not want a male in the room! The nurse came in the room after I put on the gown but didn't know prior to opening the door. Fortunately, I was covered up! Then when Dr. McGowen came in, she was very curt, quick, and never smiled. In fact, she didn't even respond to one of my questions. Will not go back!!

Dr. McCowan was the most genuine doctor my daughter has seen. We have been to 5 different doctors for my daughter's scalp issues and extreme loss. None of them would find the source of the problem. They all just treated the symptoms. Dr. Mc Cowan, on the other hand, has worked diligently trying to diagnose the condition and has kept in touch with me to inform of her progress. My daughter is much better. Dr. McCowan made my daughter feel so at ease and was so thorough in her examination. Her demeanor was so empathetic and caring. I thank God for her.
