Dr. Nanda Channaiah, DO

Dr Channaiah is an excellent doctor. She has helped me so many times with my issue and has done research to try to get me more even more help. She genuinely cares about how my issue affects my life and she is always patient and talks everything out with me. She moves through things quickly but she makes sure I know what is going on and what the plan is down the road. I appreciate her for all the care she gives to me!

Office staff were very unorganized and unprofessional. Waited 90 minutes to meet with a nurse. Channaiah was not present to remove surgical stitches as she indicated she would be. Removal was instead conducted by nurse with limited experience and was unnecessarily painful. Will not return.

I haven't seen her in 3 years since going off to college. Previously I was with her for two years trying to get a handle on my acne. After much frustration during college I did plenty of research over those three years discovered that I was having hormonal acne. My symptoms and age were obvious qualifiers. She missed it and I spent hundreds of dollars and embarrassing years with her in the process of her unsuccessfully treating me. She is a superficial dermatologist who did not ask questions or look at my profile long enough to say, "you know what, what Im doing isn't working and I wonder if its 'this'." Great person, not a great doctor.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this physician. I thought I was seeing a professional physician but I can't say that about Dr. Channaiah, the office mgr or this practice. I saw this doctor and paid my co-pay up front. At the end of the appt., this doctor told me 3x to make sure I turned in the pink form at the front desk which I did. To my horror and shock I was requested to pay another $75 on top of my co-pay to which I strongly objected. I spoke to the office manager who spoke to the doctor who said the doctor said I had to pay it because of the time spent with the doctor. None of this was disclosed up front prior to my appt., when I made the appt. or by an assistant I had spoken to about the appt. prior to the appt. This office was paid by my insurance company but was still insistent in collecting the $75. This is the first time this has ever happened to me with any physician including dermatology practices. I have never been treated so poorly by a physician or a practice.… I refused to pay the $75 and they sent me to collections. I have reported the practice to the medical board and to the Ohio Attorney General's office. I am sorry but this practice is highly suspect and unethical.

Dr. Channaiah is incredible. She is very caring and kind, knowledgable, and a wonderful doctor and great dermatologist. I have referred her to many people, who also adore her. I completely trust her skills and am thankful she is my dermatologist.

I have seen Dr. Channaiah on two different occasions. Both times I feel that I received exemplary care. She is warm and has a very comfortable bedside manner.I went in wondering about recurring acne on my face, but she took the initiative to biopsy it just in case - since my family has a history of skin cancer.It was benign...praise God! I am so glad that she was so proactive!

I had a pretty sever case of atopic dermatitis and Dr. Channaiah changed my life with some treatment over about 3 months. She was always very courteous and professional with me.

I had an appointment with Dr. Channaiah and she was with me for about 5 minutes. She didn't even ask me how I was feeling, what my symptoms were etc. She walked in to the room after the assistant took my information, sat down and told me that she was going to write me a prescription and to come back in 2 weeks. She was in and out of the room in about 5 minutes. It was very unprofessional and I don't plan on going back to see her again.

I went in just to have some skin tags removed from around my neck. She told me she was going to use liquid nitrogen to do it. I specifically asked her whether it will leave scars. She said 'No' and whatever happens will disappear in a few days. Over 2 months have passed and I have burn marks that look horrible like cigarette burns. There is no medication to get rid of the scars and the only solution from the nurse on call was that for some people it takes some time. Since I had to pay complete fee to the doctor (procedure not covered by insurance) I am very angry that she did not analyze my skin correctly and use other technique like electric like a doctor before that had used it on me with very good results (which I had told her about). Bottomline- she is not good.
