The Veterans medical care before,Dr Ramroop, was a stressful and dreadfully demeaning experience. I could not imagine people's desperation to resort to using VAMC. If there was any other alternative, I would have recommended going ANYWHERE else. For twenty years of my experience, every six months to a year, there was a different doctor assigned to the green team. Every appointment required the recollection of every health issue for the new doctor. This alone would trigger depression and anxiety as it's well known the file in front of him contained my complete medical history. Previous doctors behaved like they'd rather be somewhere else, and often were at the nearest opportunity. Since Dr. Ramroop took over my primary care, I actually look forward to appointments. Its like a conversation with an old friend telling her the most embarrassing developments. She has a way of putting at ease any apprehension. This relationship over a ten year period, has resulted in major improvements in… my overall health, mental health,faith in the VA and in the medical profession in general. I credit my survival of Camp Lejeune contaminated water to the care provided by Dr Ramroop. Last I heard there was a 98% mortality rate in my group. Thank you Dr Ramroop.

Dr. Ramroop was the best dr I've ever had. Professional but personable, thorough in evaluating/diagnosing, and recommended the most natural kinds of treatment possible. I too would love to know how to find her. I dread the thought of starting over with someone new. Dr. Ramroop is my ideal doctor.

She quickly learned my family and everything about each of us. If you saw her out, she knew you and always asked about everyone by name. She is amazing and I truly miss her.
