Dr. Nanette Irene Steinle, MD

Based on the 2 comments on Vitals, I tried to contact Dr Steinle five times over two weeks to schedule an appointment. Despite messages stating how important it was for me to see an Endocrinologist, she never returned my calls. If this is the way Dr Steinle runs her practice, I am glad she was just too busy to return my calls. I've been to enough doctors with a 'god' complexes. Don't need another one. It is great to have websites like Vitals.com, where patients can post both positive and negative comments about doctors

Dr. Steinle is an excellent endocrinologist. She is very thorough and professional at all times. She doesn't rush through your appointment and really tries to make sure that all of the i's are dotted and t's are crossed. I would recommend her to anyone. Her work reflects her teaching and continued research. She also has a good sense of humor. We are blessed for health care professionals like her.

In building my medical team, I sent Dr. Steinle an email, told her about my situation and at the time I travelled extensively and she told me to make an appt when my schedule permitted and once I met her, we clicked. I liked that she answers email and is technically-hip.
