Dr. Naoko Ikeda, DO

If I could give Dr. Nakao Ikeda zero stars, it would still be a generous assessment of the "care" provided. As a Registered Nurse of over 40 years, I have seen the full spectrum of bedside manner, from the cold to the incompetent—but Ikeda exists in a category of her own: predatory. From the moment she walked in, she radiated contempt. She chose to sit as far away as possible, mumbling through a mask, and treated a simple request for clarity as a personal affront. When I asked her to repeat herself, she responded with the petulant arrogance, rolling her eyes and sneering at me. The situation devolved from rude to VIOLATING when I requested a lab order. She literally hissed—a sound no professional should ever make—and flung the paperwork at me. I abruptly stood up and informed her that I was aware of her reputation for "elder abuse" and would no longer tolerate her nastiness. This is when she lost all my respect. She physically accosted me, wrapping her arms around me in a desperate,… pathetic attempt to drag me back into the exam room. I had to forcibly break her grip to escape. Putting hands on a patient in this way in a pathetic attempt to salvage her already horrible reputation should land her in a review with the State Medical Board. Dr. Ikeda is a bully who weaponizes her position of power against the elderly, operating under the cowardly assumption that her patients lack the voice or strength to fight back. To prospective patients: Believe the reviews. She is as toxic as they say. To Dr. Ikeda: You are a disgrace to the "Dr." prefix. Your behavior isn't just a breach of ethics; it's a liability. SHAME ON YOU.
