Dr. Naomi Castillo Purdy, MD

Dr Purdy is very professional and has a great attitude towards her patients. She cares about her patients and you can tell by the way she talks to you. The staff is friendly and takes care of referrals excellently.

I saw Naomi Purdy with an existing skin condition I've had since childhood. I've always seen a dermatologist for this condition, but we just moved here and I had to find a new one. This was never a problem before. Naomi refused to give me a referral for the condition and wanted to treat it in-house. She recommended a potentially harmful solution to the problem that could cause yeast infections along with lowering my immune system. I asked at our 2nd appointment again for a referral and was denied... again. She also refused to send me to an OB GYN for basic feminine checkups, and wanted to do this in house as well. Steer clear of this doctor. On a very positive note, the office staff was amazing.

Dr. Purdy is very slow and makes patients wait too long in the waiting room. She has an unprofessional attitude.

She was more concerned with having me come in for appointments than to address issues. My bad cholesterol was very high and she seemed unconcerned about that. She had a very flat affect and did nothing to ease my anxiety.

Dr. Purdy seen me, took time to address all my needs. Gave me an excellent diet to follow to loose weight. Of course the lead the horse to water, but it is the one that has to drink. So following her diet for me after 2 weeks I lost 8 lbs. It means you must do what the Dr. suggests on weight loss. No magic pills. Had tests preformed according to my needs/complaints. I would suggest anyone needing a doctor would find this one to be excellent. Very much business like, and has a keen ear for what you are telling her. She respects your decision to not do something, like a mamogram, but still counsils you to consider it.

dr purdy isn't willing to help in anyway with weight loss, depression or anything with the two.on several occaisons I have asked her for help with these issues and her responce was for me to take over the counter meds and think of happy thoughts!she has been good with everything except these two conditions.
