He was able to diagnose my ADHD, ODD grandchild with Autism, aka A.S.D. and the RX calmed the violent and challenging behavioral issues at age 6. He is a good listener. I took notes to explain symptoms. After a couple visits he left the clinic, other Psych's agreed with his diagnosis and meds.

I went to see Dr. Gaboy with a 4 year old for his first visit. We were told to be there 30 minutes before appointment to complete paperwork. We were on time, even early and completed paperwork and continued to wait for close to 1 1/2 hours more before we were called. Then the doctor diagnosed my 4 year old with ADHD within 12 minutes, after only obtaining family history, without knowing or looking into other possible problems or history, and after observing a figity 4 year old who had already been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours. He gave us pamphlets, suggested prescribing stimulants, prefaced by advising me to go back and tell his pediatrician what his recommendation was. This office could care less about the time of their patients. Other patients sitting in the waiting room that had been going to this office for some time said waiting over 30 minutes to an hour for an appointment was normal. I showed the doctor respect by arriving on time and prepared for my appointment,… the least this office could have done was have the same consideration for their patient. By the way, I had to cancel another appointment with another doctor due to the fact that they kept us waiting for so long. If your time is valuable and you feel you deserve a doctor to take adequate time with your child or yourself before rushing to diagnose, then go somewhere else!
