Good doctor, but incompetent and rude billing department. They incorrectly submitted a claim to my insurance it was denied. I explained to them what should be corrected and asked to resubmit the claim, but they rudely refused to do it. Then my insurance contacted them and explained what should be corrected, but they refused to resubmit the claim. Instead they just sent this claim to collection. It's relatively small few hundreds dollars bill, but I'd rather pay it to collectors, than this rude billing department.

He tried to relate my skin problem to my joints. Just ridiculous and he refused to medicate me because I did not believe on him. He argued that my left shoulder was lower and that was causing the problem. Also, he made some private questions there nothing to do with the problem. He is really mentally aged now. Not recommended at all.

I went to Dr. Zaias based on a referral. The staff at the office located at Alton Rd was terrible, and I'm not exaggerating. Quite dismissively, the lady at the front desk claimed how I'm not insured despite me assuring her that I am and how that is impossible. It turned out they got a number wrong and didn't even have enough courtesy to apologize. Anyhow they decided without my knowledge to charge me without insurance which I only realized later on. To top it all Dr. Zaias spent literally 30 seconds with me and prescribed me an ointment that month later turned out to have only aggravated my condition. My suggestion? Just don't visit this office or this doctor.

I am a RN in Mount Sinai Hospital where this Dr has his practice. I went for a chronic skin problem that he perfectly diagnosed. Stead of treat my problem he offered me an expensive procedure and after my insistence about my real visit , he performed an unnecessary biopsy which didnt result my problem and let me a charge of 71.89 $ + 50 for the visit. I do not discussing the knowledge of Dr Zaias; however, when a Dr charges you for things that are not necessary, it makes him the worst.

Dr. Zaias was able to determine what everyone else said was a toenail fungus was really just a result of my shoes being too tight and causing pressure on my big toenail. This supposed was formerly treated by other dermatologists in Miami Beach for months and it never got better. No wonder since it was not really a fungus at all but simple trauma.I wasted hundreds of dollars on pills and laser treatments that did not work.Dr. Zaias told me that often toenail fungi are not correctly diagnosed, and he suggested that this case may be a simple case of too tight shoes.After changing to bigger shoes, it cleared up in a couple of weeks.Thanks Dr. Zaias.

thi is the 2 nd time dr. Nardo z Zaias treatet me I wold highly recomand him to anyone that needs a exellent specialist.He sees you as a humanbeeing is traying to find the caus of the problem and NOT only treating your symtoms us most MD do.courtes fanny very profecional. EXELENT in evry aspect.

I've been seeing Dr. Zaias on and off for 15 years for different skin conditions: fungus, face rash and mole checks. I find he always spends whatever time is needed to answer my questions, and his demeanor is such that he never acts like he's in a rush. His staff are great, too.

Both of my appointments were scheduled so that there was virtually no waiting time. Dr. Zaias was attentive, very professional and courteous, as were his staff.
