Dr. Narendra Kansal, MD

I had severe back pain causing sciatic nerve pain to run all down my leg. Dr. Kansal helped with diagnosing and pinpointing the specific area that was causing this. We both felt surgery would be the absolute last option and he did not push that. He set me up with physical therapy, braces and finally a cortisone epidural. He was able to inject the epidural directly into where it needed to be to finally bring my sciatic some relief.

I am so happy that I was referred to Dr Kansal. Before surgery he explain everything I needed to know about my surgery and I am so happy about the results no more pain.After surgery he visited me a lot in hospital to see if I was doing ok, even on his vacation.Thank You Dr Kansal and office staff.

I went to Dr Kansal with back pain so bad I could barely walk or even sit. He performed spinal surgery and now 6 weeks later I can get around better than I have in years! I still have a way to go with my recovery but I feel great. Thank you to Dr. Kansal and his office staff. I highly recommend Dr Kansal.

I recently fell which after seeing the ER and x-rays showing severe lower back injury, they're recommendation was to see Dr. Kansal.... So glad I did!!! Dr. Kansal and his staff are extremely nice and definitely calmed my nerves. After his consultation and my options, I opted for him do the cortisone shot in my back. I would like to thank Dr. Kansal for the warm, professional, and caring treatment I received during my recent injury. He impressed me with his compassion and concentration on my wellness. His bed side manner is calm, positive, thorough, attentive, and personal. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to explain their issues and the steps necessary to resolve it. Dr. Kansal is a one doctor practice and manages his time in such a way that he gives himself time to think and focus on one patient at a time! I would certainly recommend Dr. Kansal !

My relationship as a patient of Dr. Kansal started by happen stance as he was the neurosurgeon on duty when I was admitted through the emergency room after suffering a drastic lower back injury 20 years ago.. Dr. Kansal performed successful surgery but opted not to do fusion which I was to find out later would have been the route taken by most other related surgeons. Dr. Kansal was very forthright when I asked why he did not and I believe my quality of life was greatly enhanced by his "creative thinking". I have remained under Dr. Kansal's care only when required (very infrequent). I greatly appreciate his straight forwardness in discussing my health with both myself and my wife. I consider myself lucky that Dr. Kansal was on duty years ago.

unsure where all these good reviews came from...I would say they must be fake. This "doctor" merely went over my MRI report and rushed me out of his office...he offered no pain management, no help with disability paperwork for my job, etc. Don't waste your time as he is literally NO HELP WHATSOEVER...

He helped me regain all that I thought may be gone. His knowledge and skill to detect problems and fix so you can have a positive outlook on your recovery.

I recently had a laminectomy involving 5 vertabrae. I am a retired nurse and was very apprehensive about surgery. I have suffered with back issues for 30 years and PT usually brought relief. Our daughter, an MDand doctor Kansal assured me that surgery was the only answer. Dr Kansal has a reassuring smile and way about him that made me confident that he was the surgeon I wanted. When I woke up from the anesthetic all of my nerve pain was gone which had been so bad for months. My recovery has been steady. I am glad IIhad the surgery and that Dr Kansal did the surgery.
