ZERO STAR'S... Our first appointment to establish a family member going into a local group home went well. The fellow did a complete history and physical before we met with Dr Chandan. He came in and had a brief discussion then assured us he would treat and refill the prescriptions all but one, he would prefer it be filled by a specialist. Dr. Chandan reassured us that he would refill it for a couple months to give us time to look into this doctor. The specialist is new to our family since the medication has always (47 years always) been prescribed by the family/general practitioner. We thought everything was going to work out perfectly, I had time to research the specialists in this area, make an appointment and have them take over this medication refills. When there was 1 pill left we received word that dr chandan changed his mind and decided he was not going to refill the medication. Let me say this all happened within 8 days. No phone call, letter , email, no… notification of any kind letting us know that we are on our own. Now this medication is dangerous if not taking as prescribed and the person involved would be out for 6-7 days before another prescription could arrive. The person could become extremely ill. dr chandan did not care at all of the side effects this would cause and did not think twice of the patients well being. If this doctor is the head of training new physicians through riverside they are getting the absolute worst training in humanity! We would never think twice of having such a inhumane person being in charge of our family members care. Dr Chandan is a uncaring, inhumane and horrible person I wouldn't even associate him as a doctor. One who cares for the sick needs compassion which he is severely lacking!!!

Dr. Chandan has been my husbands doctor for many years now and has cared for him through heart problems, diabetes, strokes. He has always been proactive and helpful in any he can. I would recommend him to anyone.
