Dr. Naresh Jashwant Patel, DO

I don’t have enough space or time to go into what a horrible experience I had with Dr Patel. Short Story: he nearly killed me. I saw Patel for number of years for my allergies. During that time, he would often dismiss and invalidate my concerns. I usually saw his nurse 90% off that time I was in there. At one point, I disagreed with him and felt that a certain treatment would be dangerous for me, add I repeatedly expressed my concerns. He would not listen nor would explore alternative options. His nurse who knew me and my allergies really well agreed with me and told him so. He was insistent, he pushed and pushed Ave wouldn’t relent. He completely ignored my concerns and the nurses advice, and his arrogance nearly cost me my life. Not an exaggeration. I obviously haven’t gone back since and I urge caution when selecting a healthcare provider. Make sure you find someone who listens to your concerns (because you know your body best) and who respects and listens to you. … Always be your own advocate. And if they don’t listen or respect you: LEAVE. Your health is much more important than their ego. I wish I’d listened to myself and not Patel. I’m glad to see others have had good experiences with him but that wasn’t my experience.

Changed my quality of life!! Very fond of him and his staff. First Dr. experience where I was actually listened to. He has such a healing nature and kind bedside manner.

Dr. Patel is a very positive, highly skilled allergist who makes his patients feel like he is their friend, and not just a patient. He explains any test you must be given and also the results, clearly, distinctly, and ALLOWS you to ask questions. He doesn't make you feel like he is in a hurry to get to the next patient. He is great about keeping your meds updated. I would have no hesitation recommending him to someone who needs an allergist.

I saw Dr. Patel after two other allergists failed to help me. I was in a terrible state with severe autoimmune related hives. He was the first doctor to accurately diagnose it and give me the proper medication. It's been completely controlled since my first visit with him.
