Dr. Nargess Ahgharian, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. A. I have seen her every year for 37 years and through two pregnancies. That should tell you what I think of her. I will say tho that things changed when she left private practice and went to the Northwell Group. She didn't change, but I did not like that group. I haven't been to Viva Eve yet, but I know no matter what, I trust Dr. A and she will remain my doctor.

I don't know if Dr. A. is a good doctor, or not. But, I found her easy to talk to and was starting to build trust. However, I will never go back to that office again. (I saw her through Northwell Health OBGYN on 69th Street.). 1. The office lost the results of my pap smear - even though the insurance paid them. 2. They could not find the results of an X-ray for several months even though Lenox Hill confirmed faxing it to them two days after the visit, and 3. After three days of phone calls to get a prescription, the doctor called in a wrong prescription to the pharmacy. I don't know where the F^&&k up is, but I'm out of there.

This doctor does not care for patients. She cares only for her business. She proclaimed repeatedly she could do a procedure. Later upon several unanswered phone calls and emails inquiring for the details regarding the procedure I found out she could not do the procedure. Per her own admittance she is not qualified and that stated she could be 'legally liable' if she did the procedure. She's a liar for saying she could do the procedure (did she expect that I would go through with it without asking for a written writeup on what is involved?) I wasted an entire appointment, meanwhile she get's paid by my insurance company!

This arrogant practitioner puts people at risk

excellent, knowledgable, well-trained physician... grateful to have found her.

On the medical side, I am pleased with the treatment and care received from Dr. Ahgharian over the years, a dedicated and competent gynecologist.. On the paper work side, I am however extremely disappointed by the lack of follow-up by the office staff concerning transmission of forms to Medicare/insurance companies. Various excuses have been advanced over the years. Completion of the reimbursement process tis a hassle and akes at least a year if not more

Dr. Ahgharian treats people like people -- not like "cases". She's very knowledgeable and thorough and never makes me feel like she's just going through the motions, so to speak. She's done several gyn procedures on me and was wonderful during my hysterectomy. Her bedside manner is warm, attentive, confident, collaborative and reassuring. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

I've been a patient for almost 14 years, and Dr. Ahgharian is the very best you can find. She's knowledgable, thorough, caring and absolutely brilliant.

Dr. Ahgharian is thorough, caring and an exceptional diagnostician. I have complete confidence in her skills and judgment.
