Dr. Naser Wadie Azar, MD

Check in at 12:30 PM, my appointment is at 12:40 pm, got the paper work, filled them up, let us say it took me 30 minutes to fully fill out everything, time passes till I realized it is 02:30 PM, so it is been two complete hours in the clinic setting waiting to see the doctor. WHY, WHY, WHY. I ask the receptionist at 02:35 pm she said sorry we are little behind and the doctor is little behind with patients, I told here then you shouldn’t schedule more appointments, it took me more than 45 days to schedule the appointment and when I come on it I waiting 2 hrs you guys should respect my time, I have things and responsibilities to do and you telling me little behind. I told here this is the first time for me here and I waiting that long, I do not want your service and I do not want to be seen by the doctor, remove me from your system and I will change the Dr with my insurance.

I've been seeing Dr. Azar off and on for 27 years. I only see him when I really need help and am not getting it. In fact, I pay cash to see him. He has never let me down figuring what's going on not once. There was even a time when my son was 5 years old and extremely sick for 3 weeks with no end in sight. Countless Dr visits, urgent care, and constant emergency room visits ect, with no help. Once again I turned to Dr. Azar. He sent me back to the hospital ER that we'd just left from and had him admitted immediately. My son spent 4 days in the hospital with multiple diagnoses that required multiple treatments and came home with an IV still in his little hand to continue the antibiotics he was unable to hold down. By the 5th day he was on his little feet again after an entire month of being laid up. Imagine, an extremely active 5 year old boy laid up for an entire month. Unheard of. The staff can use a reshuffle but I don't go there for them so the 5 stars are for Dr Azar. There is a… wait but that's because he's loaded with patients and actually takes the time needed to figure things out instead of guessing. Doctors like this always have a ton of patients because they are a rare and dying breed of doctor. We've been taught to wait for the best so remember that when waiting there to see him.

There is a wait but that's because he's loaded with patients that need his expertise and he actually takes the time needed to figure things out instead of dismissing and/or guessing. He makes sure to find the issue not matter how deeply buried it man be. Doctors like him always have a ton of patients because they are a rare and dying breed of doctor. We've been taught to wait for the best so remember that when waiting there to see him. And for the love of God, bring entertainment if you must bring you kids and plenty of snack and games. A prepared mother suffers far less that an unprepared one. That's another fact.

Dr. Azar sucks!!! (*"Terrible" is not the original word I wrote) He is short and rude in his conversation with his patients, his office is packed most of the time, and the wait is at least an hour most of the time before you will be seen. I have tried a few times to switch Doctors but it is complicated with my Insurance. He will probably see this, and fire me as his patient. Likewise he refers to Bryan Lee for Pain Management - and always says the same thing: "He's the best!" Not true. Dr. Bryan Lee must have some inside deal with Azar, and might as well be the same Doctor because a patient will have nearly the same experience with Lee. Bryan Lee refers to Inland Pain Management when he's isn't able to help ...and they are worse then both of these other characters. Run far away from Doctor Azar and his staff & the same for Dr. Bryan Lee for Pain Management. I am stuck, so I have little choice. "Run, Run Run!!!" is what I would say to anyone new. *His improvement would be… needed all the way around. If he reads this, he should see it as constructive criticism... not just another "complaining patient". In fact, if he didn't want to hear the complaints of Patients, why did he go into Medicine? Everything above could be fixed, but he has to have himself and his staff take a hard look in the mirror on how they treat patients and to take the above post to heart. Do they really want to serve the Patients they have - is what I am saying. If not, they should leave or quit the business. BTW, *3-4 weeks to get an appointment is ridiculous too. He has to do something about that. On the brighter side, Dr. Mujeeb is very Professional and Caring. I think so far she has provided the best Medical Care since I started going there a few years ago. Everyone else needs to take a look in the mirror.

My last 3 appointments were with the PA (Michelle) which is fine, however from my appointment time to her walking in the room was 45 minutes late, then my next appointment was an hour late, and the last appointment was 45 minutes. I haven't personally had trouble with staff but a medication refill request was sent to Chino office (I visit the Corona office) by mail order company and the staff rejected the refill without checking to see if I was a patient of the Dr. Azar from another office. I like Dr. Azar but appointments with him are limited and the wait times to see the PA's are unreasonable and I am changing doctors.

Never got to the doctor because the people up front were so bad. Receptionists are rude, disdainful and condescending. Who can trust a doctor who can't hire competent staff?

The receptionist is ALWAYS rude. The wait time is ridiculous. What's the point of an appointment? Oh and when you call their office expect to feel rushed and a tone of voice from someone who hates their job. They will also put you on hold FOREVER!!! I really don't have anything to say about the Dr because I think every time I've gone, I see some young lady Dr and she's very nice.

I always get the best care there.

This doctor was working at Urgent Care in 2004 and he saved me and my new born babies life!!!! Corona Regional Hospital had told me I was a new mother and my baby was fine, then later that day my stitches broke from an infection from my C section, I told my husband there's NO way I'm going back to that hospital, I went to urgent care across the street he treated me and treated my daughter, I was breast feeding my new born baby , and I am an epileptic and was told by Corona Regional hospital where I had her that my medication wasn't effecting her and within 2 weeks of having her, I got an infection from that hospital and my medication had built up in her system and she was almost in a drug induced coma, he made the doctors from that hospital come across the street and apologize for that, then he started his own practice and I followed him there, he is one of the best doctors I've ever seen!!!! Unfortunately I moved and had to change doctors cause I am epileptic and can't drive, I saw… people posting that they had to wait and he was arrogent, lol, I would rather wait to see a good doctor then see the idiots I am seeing now!!! Wish I had him as a doctor and I didn't live so far away, he is not arrogent, he is confident in his care as a physician..... Again I would always be in debt to him he saved my babies life!!!!

I credit Dr. Azar with saving my daughter's life! I took my teenage daughter to his office for what I thought was stomach flu. He diagnosed it as appendicitis & sent us to the hospital. The hospital ran tests & said all looked fine & sent us home. Dr. Azar's office called to follow up the next day (HOW OFTEN DOES A DR. CALL TO FOLLOW UP ON A PATIENT?) and when I told them what happened Dr. Azar got on the phone & insisted that I take her back to the hospital immediately! This time they took her straight into surgery and she has made a full recovery. I know that Dr. Azar has since opened new offices and is super busy & hard to see, but in my mind it's worth the wait!
