Dr. Nasiha Fahmi, MD

I have been a patient for over ten years Dr Fahmi is a brilliant and kind doctor with excellent diagnostic skills.

I agree with the many reviews of Dr. Fahmi. She has gone downhill the past few years. Late for her appointments, not calling with results, staff calling with incorrect results, withholding prescriptions. I think she has too many patients and in it for the money. Time to find a new doctor.

Echoing other reviews. Both me and my wife has been patients of Dr. Fahmi for well over a decade and the quality of care has consistently deteriorated over the years. The following are a list of typical issues experienced with the practice/doctor. 1)Wait times could exceed two hours in some instances with typical wait time averaging 1 1/2 hours. 2)There is absolutely no feedback protocol with patients, as other reviewers have mentioned. You have to call numerous times to get feedback on blood work, x-rays,etc. In rare occasions when your call is returned, its from a medical assistant who is absolutely ignorant of the suspected condition. This is unacceptable!!! These calls should be returned by the physician in a timely and consistent manner. 3)Getting referrals to the specialists is plagued by delays and miscommunication. As an example, I was supposed to get referred to Endo, but instead was referred to E&T. Getting any type of clarity on why the mistake has occurred is impossible as… no one calls you back. 4)Lately I have stopped trusting the doctor's opinion as I do not feel there is a genuine desire to accurately diagnose/treat the condition but rather feel like a part of the conveyor were concentration is on quantity rather then quality. Several conditions that I have experienced over the past couple of years have not been diagnosed or treated correctly and while I do understand that mistakes are possible, I feel the issues are related to quick judgments opposed to methodical evaluation, again supporting the quantity over quality conclusion. We are currently in the process of changing PCP and I feel compelled to share my experience/inform prospective patients of the issues we have experienced. Overall I would not recommend the practice and/or the doctor and would encourage seeking a different provider for your healthcare needs.

I have been going to Dr Fahmi for a long time and noticed that when I would have lab work done it got to the point I would have to call and get results . This past visit I had blood work done and called to get results , my name and number was taken and was told her medical assistant would return my call and that never happened . It's been 2 weeks since my results have been in and I just got a call from their office after I found another doctor . And my lab work was not good , imagine if I waited for that 2 week return call . I will never go back to that office she has taken on more patients than she can handle .

I’ve been going to Dr Fahmi well over 5 years. She listens to your concerns & she genuinely cares about you as a patient. Lourdes is great too!

Used to be a good experience, but I'm finally giving up

A few months ago I got a new job and unfortunately missed enrollment for health insurance so I am not currently covered. Dr. Fahmi has been treating my asthma for years so when I needed refills for my rescue inhaler they refused to see me unless I made an appointment. When I spoke to her staff he refused to let me get a call back from my dr and when I asked to be seen he refused me as a patient. Whoever her office manager is has yelled at me on the phone and recognizes my phone number and refuses to answer when I call now.

Your lucky if you get 10 minutes with this dr. Questions are not answered in good detail, it's like you have to guess what she means. She is polite but seems to be a million miles away most of the time. Extremely slow on ever getting back to you on any results, sometimes you can wait 2 months even if you call several times. The office crew are terrible, and speak little English. Many times your on hold so long you get disconnected. Returned phone calls are non existent!!!!

Spends very little time with you and does not answer questions directly. Trying to get threw on the phone is a nightmare as the staff puts you on hold forever and are very hard to understand when you do get through as their English stinks. Definitely looking for a replacement dr. who I can actually talk to. Her nurse Lourdes is a gem but that is the only person there who you can talk to and understand.

Been going to her for about 5 years and the first 2 1/2 were very good. This past 2 years are getting worse and worse, as except for Lourdes her staff is rude plus the Dr. spends very little time with you and will never return a phone call. I have had my pharmacy call her on many occasions for a refill and sometimes it takes 4-5 days for them to return the call. When I have blood work done I always have a copy sent to me and yet her office never gets back to you for almost 2 weeks and I get the results within 3 days. Two or three times I have asked to speak to her on the phone and I am always told I need to make an appt. if I wish to speak with her. Needless to say I am in search for a new Dr. Loved her before but NOT anymore. Also the people that answer the phone will put you on hold for so long you get disconnected and sometimes actually hang up on you.
