Dr. Nasim Mona Mcdermott, DO

I waited 3 hours twice at the Summerlin office. What was disappointing to me is how she treated me. I wanted to continue our relationship since she was the one who performed my first colonoscopy which demonstrated her concern for what transpired. Unfortunately she made me wait twice and although I was not the last patient, she made me wait until office was empty. She was rude to me since I discussed my concerns with her & her unorganized & sloppy Summerlin office. I live in Summerlin so it was more convenient for me after having a medical relationship that scanned 2 years that originated at her previous office with Dr. Pasha on Smoke Ranch. I waited to give this review but she is getting the true rating of 1 star that she rightly deserves. Highly disappointed & furious now that she has referred me to another doctor. Fortunately I will not have to wait 3 hours ever again. Shame on her, & her unprofessional nature in addition to a chaotic office that represents her lack of medical… conduct, professionalism, & overall decency. I will contact Health Plan of Nevada now as well. I canceled my complaint months ago, but will now follow through with my horribly unnecessary experience. Never said anything to me after doing and upper endosopy. I would NEVER, NEVER seek her servvices again!!!

She is an excellent Dr. , however the staff in the office she shares is horrible and I can never make an appointment over the phone. She does not get to hire her staff I asked but she is so good at actively listening and talking to you about your condition. I just wish she was in another medical office so I don't have to deal with her staff.

The doctor is very nice. 'Exam' was a few questions & recommend a colonoscopy. I waited over 90 minutes past my appointment time to see her. Maybe they over schedule her, lots of appointment times available. During the wait it seemed that everyone that came out was scheduled for a colonoscopy & that is booked about 6 weeks ahead since they're so busy. A bit odd that so many need one? The facility they use gets terrible reviews-including it's not clean!
