Dr. Natalia Camacho, DO

Dr. Camacho presents an air of competence but lacks fundamental communication skills, basic bedside manners, and the general compassion for patients. Quite recently, my wife was discharged after giving birth to our first child and she had gestational hypertension. Neither Comacho nor the staff provided clarity on the dose of my wife’s hypertension medication. A few hours after being discharged, my wife’s BP spiked. We were eventually able to get a hold of Comacho after she came out of a surgery. At that point, my wife’s BP was nearing 170/100+. Comacho took that time to talk in great length to my wife of things she should have done and how everything leading up to the high BP was fine. Two things that stuck to me were: 1) Comacho was fixated in defending herself to a patient whose BP is nearing 170/100+ rather than offering any meaningful input. And she proceeded to continue belaboring on things she has done so far. 2) Comacho proceeded to place the blame on my wife bringing her… to tears. The sheer level of general incompetence is beyond frustrating and speaks volumes of the quality of care Comacho is capable to provide.

I saw Dr. Camacho today and she was amazing. I suffer from extreme health anxiety and she was totally calm and provided valid likely reasons for my issues. She didn’t dismiss anything or act like I was being dramatic. She handled everything so well. She’s super professional and knows her stuff! And she is so nice!!! I met her in the past when I was going through a nightmare ordeal and remember posting on fb how great she was back then, but now I feel compelled to write a review because she’s my favorite out of everyone I have dealt with at HF. And that includes all the other providers from 2017 as well. She deserves glowing feedback. Also, I know everyone’s unique and different, but she calmed my nerves and even scheduled an ultrasound for peace of mind and to ensure there’s nothing else going on…some providers would certainly dismiss my symptoms but she is going the extra mile. Exactly what you want in a doctor.

I left Dr Camacho office in tears. Not because of the news, but lack of information, lack of explaining to me and lack of listening. I went to her as a referral from the ER. I’ve had severe abdominal pain, 2 months constipated and bloating with nausea all the time. On top of very frequent urination and bleeding even though I’m in menopause. Er sent me because they found multiple masses on my ovaries. First she never let me give her full symptoms, cut me off. Said there’s only one mass on ovary while the ER AND MY GI said there’s multiple. I have masses on my liver too. Never gave me any idea what was going on. Pretty much said she doesn’t believe the masses have anything to do with it, all based of a er ct-scan. Ordered a vaginal ultrasound and every question I asked her answer was” I can’t say any thing until the US. But she was able to say she didn’t believe my ovaries were the issue. After the ER and GI both said it’s a big red flag with my ovaries. I cried in her office and begged… for clarification on what she was saying. All I ever got was it’s probably a GI thing and I need to do an ultrasound, oh and that was said to me in such a condescending way. Completely made me feel like what I’ve been living with for 3 month that’s completely changed how I function every day, not her problem but with my GI. I read her reviews when I got home and immediately found a new doctor. I will say the staff there are kind and helpful. She’s just horrible at her field. It being an already scary time for me,she almost crushed what fight I had left in me

My experience with Dr. Camacho during my first pregnancy was excellent. She is an exceptional professional who always answered all my questions and was very attentive to my condition throughout the process. Although we ended up with a cesarean section, the surgical experience was good thanks to her presence and the wonderful care of the hospital team. The prenatal consultations were very pleasant, and all the staff was friendly. I would definitely choose her again for a future pregnancy and would recommend her without hesitation to others in this stage. I am very grateful for her dedication and work as a doctor; thanks to her, my child was born healthy and happy. My husband and I are very grateful.

The experience I had with Natalia Camacho was horrible. Appointments were backed up and she was running behind. She minimized my concerns, interrupted me in the middle of trying to communicate my concerns. This was my first and last visit with her. This women does not belong in medicine. People come to her for help and insight. Her demeanor was so negative, I left her office second guessing everything she suggested. I had to click on a star to complete this review, she deserves NO STARS.

Very RUDE no bedside manner at all. Condescending in her conversation as I was a new patient. Didn’t introduce herself once walked in, shook my hand or anything. No assessment done at all about my pain, last period, the length, the intensity of pain location nothing, no visualization, no palpating on the area of interest . Worst GYN appt ever in my life. I have two sores on my breasts had she examined me she may have saw them!! ?? Had she done anything besides sat and looked sat me with her arms folded she may have done it. I have now from another physician been sent for an emergency breast ultrasound, ridiculous when I just saw a GYN …. Will NOT recommend will NEVER return!! Maybe I was the wrong color for her liking, because that’s what her entire vibe approach interaction was giving!!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Camacho. It was my first visit with her and I found her to be very knowable and friendly which put me at ease. All of the Team Members at her office were excellent as well.

I just moved to Melbourne and needed a new GYN. Dr. Camacho was rough during my exam. I have never had such a rough exam in my life! She then did not listen to my concerns. I have a rare medical issue (not menopause) that is helped by bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. I have been on hormone replacement therapy for years with good effects. Instead of listening to me, she lectured me about the dangers of hormone replacements with her hands on her hips. She was not kind. I had to go to a different doctor to get my hormone replacements. I was later told, and I will not reveal the source, that she is far more into babies. I would never recommend this doctor, especially not for those who are menopausal, infertile, or in need of special care. You won't get it with her.

Extremely rushed and absolutely no follow through didn’t even take a second to explain to me why certain lab work was requested

I am not sure why Dr. Camacho has any negative reviews. I’ve seen her multiple times for my maternity visits/ had phone conversations (this is my first pregnancy) and she’s been nothing but warm, knowledgeable and responsive to any of my questions. I recommend her for OB or maternity any day.
