Dr. Natalia Markova, DO

I've been seeing Dr. Markova for 1.5 years almost weekly for therapy. She is so kind, patient, and caring. She is an excellent listener and I can tell she really cares about my stressors and situation. I started seeing her when I was really depressed- I felt really lonely, was struggling with my weight issues (binging and purging), and was performing really poorly at work. We worked through the loneliness and she helped motivate me to form a community of people around me. We worked on the weight/eating issues, made goals, and would explore the root of my issue. In terms of work, she always helped me see the great aspects of my work and reminded me why I love my profession so much. I was also in two very tumultuous relationships (at different times, one after the other) and she was extremely helpful with this. I like that she had her opinion yet still respected my decision to see the relationship out even though no one else in my life did. She helped build my confidence and provided me… the strength to leave the relationship when I felt ready. She would help make sense of things that were stressful to me. Anyways, I could go on how much I value in her in my life. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is seeking guidance, clarity, and support on their issues!
