Dr. Natalie Jean McConnell, MD

My kids absolutely love Dr. McConnell. She knows her stuff.

Dr. McConnell is not a bad doctor. Interacts with children well. Never had any major illnesses to deal with, so has been acceptable. Nurses are nice as well. The office staff is one word.....HORRIBLE. Good luck getting an appointment, and even better getting a well visit. Very rude, refuses to answer questions. Even will get sarcastic and rude on the phone, and question things you tell them. Wait times in the office are beyond unacceptable. I understand that waiting at the doctor's office is part of the game, but I don't think we have ever seen the doctor within 1 hour of arrival. Dr. McConnell is not bad, but the experience, wait times, ease of appointments, and the horribly rude office staff has pushed us into finding another doctor. She obviously has way too many patients. Dr. McConnell isn't THAT great of a doctor to put up with all of that. She really needs to address her staff before she starts losing more patients, although I get the impression that may be… what they are trying to do.

I WAS TOLD MY DAUGHTER HAD A "DAYCARE COLD" AND WAS DISMISSED, AFTER TAKING HER TO THE ER AFTER SHE GOT WORSE, SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH PNEUMONIA IN BOTH LUNGS. I WAS TOLD THE BUMPS ON HER WERE "IRRITATED HAIR FOLLICLES THAT WOULD GO AWAY ON THEIR OWN", ONCE AGAIN, WE ENDED UP AT THE ER BECAUSE HER CONDITION GOT WORSE, AND SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH MSRA STAPH! WHEN CALLING TO GET A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT, I WAS TOLD SHE WOULD NOT SEE HER UNTIL SHE WAS DONE WITH ALL MEDICATIONS, EVEN THOUGH HER CONDITION SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE. MCCONNELL IS NEGLECTFUL AND DISMISSIVE ABOUT POTENTIAL PROBLEMS! I AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH HER "CARE" AND WILL BE CHANGING PEDIATRICIANS VERY SOON!
