I also engage in independent decision-making about individual health care needs.My clinical interests include obstructive and central sleep apnea, REM behavior disorder and narcolepsy.Why I Love My WorkWhat I enjoy most about my job is interacting with patients and their families. My motivation to go into medicine stems from being able to make a positive impact on the well-being and lives of my patients. I also wanted to be part of the development of the fascinating field of sleep medicine. My number one priority will always be to have a deep commitment to my patients and their families.Getting to Know MeOutside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my husband, two amazingly energetic boys and twin girls. I also enjoy collecting and reading books of German authors in their original language.
