Dr. Natalya Yureyevna Bronson, MD

I feel so grateful to have been assigned Dr. Natalya Bronson as my psychiatrist during my recent stay at Forest View. She, along with a wonderful resident physician Tonya, met with me daily. They were attentive, caring, and I would highly recommend these specialists. They listened carefully to me during each visit, closely monitoring me, and assessing me thoroughly. Thank you Dr. Bronson and Tanya for being the team of professionals I was desperately in need of during a very dark time in my life.

I realize there are people with different experiences than my own, but I felt she listened, took me seriously, and helped me. Her diagnosis of me (PTSD) is one I have been diagnosed with before. The meds she prescribed are very similar to the ones my regular dr prescribed, with a few added ones, anti depressant, and something against anxiety, that seem pretty reasonable to me. Now, about a month later, I feel I am a lot more functional and have begun to understand a few things about my PTSD better. All in all I am very glad I went to my appointment. I hope that others will have better experiences too..

Would not recommend her. She misdiagnosed me. Never did Psychiatric evaluation. Made up my systems. Always asked what medications I wanted. Would prescribe whatever I wanted, not what was medically appropriate. Ideal doctor for drug users looking to get high. Became so irate at my last session, that I found myself asking her the Psychiatrist to calm down. Never going back.

I saw her at Prairie. She seems like a caring person who wants to help but is also pushy, domineering and quick to jump to conclusions about what is needed. She wants results, and figures it's time to try something entirely new if you've been struggling for awhile on current medications. Example: I'm diagnosed with depression and PTSD and had spent three months in partial at Prairie, with an entire staff who had confirmed these to be accurate diagnoses. She knew that but upon readmission (six months later) she felt it was time to make a bipolar case out of me because I was showing irritability (because I ended up having a BAD hospital experience at Prairie after partial and resented being forced back via Innovis hospital, who contracts with them). She knew all of that. I honestly tried to tell her I don't have bipolar symptoms, but she manipulated me into trying a mood stabilizer and I knew if I did, maybe I'd be deemed a "cooperative" patient (sure enough) and be let of the hospital… soon (ditto). I discontinued the mood stabilizer after I was out of the hospital and have since made other positive changes, on my own, to improve my mood. Friends continue to confirm I show no signs of bipolar. I don't know what Dr. Bronson is like in private practice (where she probably assumes patients are higher functioning); I've never visited her there.

Dr Bronson is not very professional. When she asks the parents of a patient to talk to the patient to stay longer and the parent states that the patient does not belong in there she diagnoses the patient to be a danger to themselves and others and forces a court order for your child to stay in Prairie. When a patient is threatened to either go in voluntarily or forced, the patient goes in voluntarily and then she talks to the patient for appoximately 15 minutes and comes up with a hypothetical reason to keep the patient in the hospital.
