Dr. Natan David Kahn, MD

In 2010, I underwent a blepharoplasty in my left eye for thyroid eye disease. I was shown multiple before and after photos from Dr. Kahn and was confident he could help me. After 13 years and 3 separate surgeries (4 if we count my right eye, which had no issues but he convinced me doing both eyes would help him be able to get them to look the same again, which is obviously not true)he has ultimately destroyed my self confidence and essentially my life, as my now ex husband left me and my “crooked eye” as he called it was a constant subject for him to poke fun at me. Yes, I realize this makes my ex husband a cruel and shallow human being, which is no fault of Dr. Kahn. But I can’t help but feel that the damage he has caused to my face and my self confidence contributed to the way my life played out. I would love to have my eye fixed correctly but I’ve lost any hope in Dr. Kahn and can only pray that I can afford to find a competent surgeon some day in the future.

Dr. Kahn did a blepharoplasty on my family member & left him with 1 eye that is very noticeably smaller than the other eye (a condition that he did not have prior to the surgery). Dr. Kahn tried to attribute this problem to a contracting muscle in the patient's face, a complete untruth. The size difference in the eyes remains years after the regrettable surgery. Do not go to this doctor!

61 year-old male here. Eyelids dropping so low that by the end of the day, it was tough keeping them open. I had eyebrow and eyelid surgery. Full anesthesia. The surgery was transformative and I love it!! Not only do I have the full functioning of my eyes again, there was the added benefit of improving my appearance. Dr. Khan was personable, professional and a pleasure throughout the whole life cycle. Timely and competent. The results exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.

61 year old male. Eyelids dropping over my eyes to the point that reading had become impossible. Eyelid and eyebrow surgery went beautifully. Dr. Kahn was personable, timely and followed up well. His team was also really nice. The outcome was way better than I had hoped for. Count me a happy patient and enthusiastic advocate.

Firstly, my surgery for blepharoptosis and brow ptosis was a success. No complaints about that. However, I find Dr. Kahn has a lack of respect for his patients, or at least this patient. We were told to arrive at the surgery at 7:15 (much to early) for a 9:30 surgery. We were also told that my ride home was to stay on site until after surgery, which is completely unnecessary in this day of cell phones. I did not get into the prep site until 10:30. I was out by noon. Nearly 5 hours, with my husband wasting his entire morning sitting in the waiting room. At the post op check up, Dr. Kahn has a student observing, which was fine with me. However, he talked to the student the entire time he removed my stitches and when done, shook my hand and left. He never offered to show me, in a mirror, what he had done. For the 8 week follow up, I arrived for my 9:20 appointment, waited 30 minutes, then asked the nurse how far behind he was running. One hour! At 9:20 am! I feel that he… should not overbook so much that patients are waiting for these extended periods of time. It says, "Your time is not as important as my time." Again, a lack of respect for me. It leads me to believe that money, seeing as many patients as he can, regardless of time constraints, is the primary concern of this doctors. A strong ego is a good thing in a surgeon. But not so big an ego that he disregards the person for whom he is caring. Very disappointed. Too bad he is, just about, the only 'game in town.'

Since my lid surgery my eyes have not fully closed and I've had more problems with them then I had initially, i.e.. severe dry eyes. The office is so overbooked they could never get me in when I needed to be seen. Would not recommend!

I had surgery a few years ago to prevent a watering eye. the surgery consisted of Dr Kahn's partner. A string was attached to the inside of my nose to keep the drainage open. I have been so disappointed and had to live with a worsen condition since then. I was told there was nothing they could do. I have to wear sunglasses all the time the wind, commercial lighting in stores, and air conditioning cause tears to run down my face.

Dr. Kahn is a terrific surgeon and I am so happy he was recommended to me. Every part of my experience was perfect!

Dr. Kahn immediately recognized mis-diagnosis by another board-certified ophthalmologist and followed through with corrective surgery and follow-up.
