Dr. Nataniel T Vasquez, MD

Dr. Vasquez took care of me at CCH and did a wonderful job. He cares about his patients and listened to my story and symptoms, after many other doctors hadn't. I would let him care for anyone in my family!

I’ve never had a doctor make me feel so judged, and uncared for. He laughed when he diagnosed me, and was not attentive for the 6 hours I was in the room. I went up to Boston the next day because I was not satisfied with his care or diagnosis. I ended up in surgery a week later from his wrongful diagnosis. If you end up in Cape Cod hospital and are assigned this man, ask for a different (real) doctor. It took me 9 months to write this review because I am still so angry and couldn’t find the right words for this review.

Dr Vasquez went way more than the extra mile in treating me in the Cape Cod Hospital Emergency Room. His perseverance, thoroughness and professionalism along with Dr Ray saved my life. In their quest to resolve problems that I was having, they found a tumor on my pancreas that would have become cancerous and lethal by the time it was discovered. Getting an MRI done was complicated by the fact that I have a prothesis in my inner ear. I personal watched as Dr Vasquez made the calls himself working on this problem. I would absolutely put my life or a family member with Dr Vasquez knowing that this is an extremely capable doctor who goes the extra mile and has great bedside manor and communication as well.

Dr. Vasquez wrongly diagnosed me with liver disease, when in fact I had a cyst on my ovary that was leaking. He was by far the worst doctor I've ever met, and I feel sorry for people at Cape Cod Hospital who have to interact with him.

I am a healthy mid-40’s female who saw Dr. V in ER after a fainting episode. He came to room 2 tunes, never within 8 feet of me. No physical exam, never listened to heart/lungs, never close enough to check anything. Looked at “visit notes” on MyChart which show a complete assessment having been done. That’s fraud. He did labs and sent me home, still symptomatic.

He's since moved to CCH, but his care is phenomenal!
