Dr. Nathalie Quythao Nguyen, MD

Dr. Nguyen was over 45 minutes late to the appointment, then failed to listen to me, the reasons I was there, and sarcastically asked 'what tests do I want' (as she was unaware of what tests should be ordered). I asked for a referral to another specialist, and she got very angry. She then physically put her hand in my face like a petulant teenager and unethically decided to cancel my appointment while I was sitting in the office. I did not yell, curse or exhibit rude behavior- she simply did not like being told she needed to be on time and being asked for a referral. In order to cover her tracks, she then actually fabricated what happened in my own medical documents, thus breaching her ethical obligations to a patient. My daughter previously saw her for skin issues and was basically told, "wash your face" and given no help. Her reputation is well earned, and I would go out of your way to find another doctor.

Dr. Nguyen, is one of the best in her field of Dermatology, she very good explaining my surgery thoroughly and what I may experience afterwards. She also said she wanted to send for a biopsy to get a evaluation report just to be safe. KAISER is very lucky to have this doctor on there staff.

I used to see Dr. Nguyen when she practiced in NYC. Found out that she had charged me double for the out of pocket cost!!!! Please compare with other doctors before you pay anything!

I had a terrible experience today at Dr. Nathalie Nguyen's office. I have been in Manhattan for many years and have never experienced such rude office staff in my life. When I arrived the receptionist was on her cell phone on a personal call and then pointed to forms and said "FILL THESE OUT." The doctor was running late and when I asked how long it would be, she said "You need to just wait until you are called." This is a pediatric office and I was with one son and needed to pick up another so I requested again to get some sense of how late the dr was running. The receptionist refused. It didn't matter because the receptionist said that we wouldn't be seen since I wouldn't leave a credit card on file. As a victim of credit card/identity theft in the past, I do not leave my credit card on file at offices anymore. This appointment was 100% covered by my insurance. I would have been happy to pay on the same day if I needed to, but since my deductible was met, there was nothing… to pay. The receptionist said because I didn't leave a credit card, I could not be seen. She would not let me talk to the dr, which wouldn't have mattered because surely the receptionists are following orders. As someone very familiar with many opinion leaders in the medical community, I am going to contact the Medical Ethics Board to determine if it is right to deny a child care if the parent doesn't leave a credit card on file even though the visit was 100% covered by insurance. No matter what the Board says, I do not feel comfortable having my child under the care of Dr. Nguyen who denied my child's visit today. I will be sure to share my concern about her office to my referring doctor at Tribeca Pediatrics who has provided me with many wonderful referrals in the past. Unfortunately, this was not one of them.

worst office ever. so hard to deal with front desk on referrals, appointments, accuracy of insurance information. doctor hours are extremely restricted. in my view, she's totally not worth dealing with. Horrible.

After seeing two other dermatologist who miss diagnosed me, Natalie treated me with one visit.

Dr. Nguyen is incredibly unresponsive. You can't get her to respond to calls, and she didn't do a procedure correctly and left one side of my face with more injected than the other. 8 days later I was still calling even though i've had the procedure before and knew it was highly abnormal to have this reaction, and she would not reply to my call or see me before 10 days. I had to go to a wedding looking terrible! The front desk is also very rude and unhelpful. I do not recommend her.

I had a terribile experience with the office staff. They were extremely rude and obnoxious and upset me quite a bit. They claimed I had an appointment for a time I didn't. And then proceeded to berate me and call me names. I have been going to this office for 10 years and was shocked and appalled I had been treated that way. I then went to their office and they refused to let me speak to the doctors. They rolled their eyes at me. It was the worst experience I had ever had. I am still shaking from it. And they are supposed to be a pediatric service.

This doctor has a know- it-all attitude and thinks that reading other patients opinions about doctors and treatments is ridiculous. She also gets an attitude with the mention of anything cosmetic for the skin ( lasers or facials) . I Had problems with prescriptions from her office being called & faxed in incorrectly. I found it impossible to straighted tese things out with her staff.I won't be wasting my time and money at this office again. There is no shortage of doctors to choose from in NYC. She does not seem to think that her patients are also educated consumers. She is very wrong and has one less patient. Take my advice and don't go to this office.

When ever I called about questions she never called back. She never helped me with my problem and just gave me some random medicine so I would stop bothering her. I had called many time because my problem was just getting worse. Then I found a new and great doctor.The next time I heard from her office was to tell me about an appointment with her and I told them I had called two weeks before and no one ever called me back. All they did was say sorry and bill me.
