What I DoI believe patient-centered care starts with humility. I seek to understand my patient’s story, lived experiences, beliefs, values and goals while developing treatment plans tailored to them. It requires an abundance of trust, patience and teamwork between us both. I recognize how great a privilege it is to be a part of a patient’s life-story and I am committed to helping them optimize their health.My clinical interests include reflux disease, liver and gallbladder disease, hernias, colorectal cancer, skin lesion excisions, soft tissue infections and wound care.Why I Love My WorkWhat I enjoy most about my job is helping patients and their families navigate the complexities of disease and healthcare systems, while also engaging in creative problem-solving skills given inherent nuance that exists throughout medicine. I look forward to my wife and I raising our two children in the lakes-country while enjoying the peaceful prairie land.Outside of work, I enjoy essentially all things related to the outdoors. This includes boating, fishing, hiking, camping, cycling, running, skiing, rock climbing, riding ATV’s and much more. I also enjoy reading and have started to dabble in woodworking.
