Dr. Nathan B Holladay, MD

After ten years of seeking answers about my chronic fatigue, Dr. Holladay is the first doctor who truly took the time to consider all of my abnormal results. He explained the different theories behind ME/CFS and gave me hope that there will be treatments in the future or at least more empathy for people with this condition.

Dr. Holladay is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and took great care and time to thoroughly review my complex medical history with me. My father, who is a respected scientist, met me in Salt Lake City for my two days of appointments with Doctor Holladay, and was equally impressed with him. Additionally, Doctor Holladay takes Canadian patients. I am a dual citizen who lives in Canada, and was facing years of waitlists for specialized medical attention. I am forever grateful that Dr. Holladay took me as a patient. Thank you!!!

If you believe that you are suffering from ME/CFS, then you've likely realized that it can take tremendous effort to find a doctor who is 1) knowledgeable 2) kind 3) accepting patients. Dr. Holladay ticks all three boxes. He spent a great deal of time with me and did not discount any of my symptoms, no matter how big or small, typical or not. I highly recommend him to others who are dealing with chronic fatigue.

Dr. Holladay gave me 8 hours of time to talk about my self diagnosed ME. 8 hours compared to 1 hour with a PA at Stanford. Absolutely brilliant. His integrity is beyond reproach. I was finally diagnosed by him as having "Atypical ME". This was the validation I have been looking for for years to no avail from numerous neurologists and endocrinologists. Current wait time is 2.5 months for an appointment compared to 1 year at Stanford and never at the Bateman center (no new patients as of this writing).

Based on Dr. Holladay's reputation among other patients with rare diseases, I had high expectations before the appointment, but I have been beyond impressed! He truly cares, and he spends the time to understand. More importantly, the guy is brilliant. He has clearly had an excellent education, and he continues to learn on a daily basis, including from the patients themselves. The only shame is that I predict he will soon be ridiculously busy due to overwhelming demand.
