Dr. Nathan Ernest Lavid, MD

This guy tried to send my children to the most dysfunctional environment you could imagine, violated basic child care protocol, was completely bias, and hangs his Boy Scout plaque on his wall at the age of 49. He got spanked by a good Judge in my historic case, and lost a majority of his income. Basically, he tried to take my children from me for 15k. He lost, my children won, because my 9 year old daughter has more heart than he does.

The BEST thing about this doctor was his receptionist! She was warm and exceedingly helpful. Conversely, Dr. Lavid was loquacious, dictatorial, bossy, inauthentic, condescending, and flat out rude! I wouldn't recommend him to an informed, knowledgable soul, as I am.

I have been treated by several psychiatrists throughout my lifetime and must say that Dr. Lavid provides exceptional therapeutic options, is extremely knowledgeable about psychotropic medications, exercises conservative protocols when making medication changes in order to properly evaluate their effectiveness (and potential side effects), actively listens and documents pertinent information shared during treatment sessions, and is unusually prompt when responding to phone calls and/or when urgent appointments are needed. With my authorization, he also proactively collaborates with my primary care physician when making treatment decisions. Dr. Lavid has been treating me for approximately five years.

I met with this man 5 times. I was referred to him by another physician. Every visit was about 5, 10 minutes tops. Sadly it became almost humorous how quick he was. All he did was ask how I was and when I would try to explain myself he would consistently cut me off. He was extremely rushed every time. When he went on his recording device and I would have to gesture to him that he was wrong with most of his statements. If he would have taken the time to actually listen to me things would have went a lot smoother. He is all about the money. He ended up billing me for a visit I did not have and a medication I did not take. It surprises me that there's actually positive feedback from some reviews for my experience was not at all positive. I felt like he could care less about my overall health. I must say each visit there was rarely a wait time or anyone else waiting for that matter. It confuses me why it is that he is so rushed. Personally, I would not recommend him to my worst… enemy.

terse stiff manner, very poor eye contact. Minimal interaction. Appeared to rely on checklist for diagnosis more than actual interview.

Dr. Lavid is good at what he does, you get what you pay for. Very attentive and knowledgeable. He's easy to reach and fast response to phone calls and emails.

I had trouble filing for disability for months because I couldn't get through to speak with a live person. But after Dr. Lavid helped me file the paperwork, I received my funds within weeks. Thank you!

I had a great experience visiting with Dr. Lavid. I felt confortable and at ease.

Dr. Lavid saw me promptly after checking in with his staff who were by the way extremely friendly and welcoming. He answered all the questions I had and made me feel better than I have in a long time. I was able to pull away from the problems I had been experiencing and left with a better mind set. I will continue to see him and I recommend you to also!
