Dr. Nathan Lucas, MD

I would like to tell anyone thinking about going to Dr. Nathan Lucas to run, don't have this man operate or do anything to your feet. I am now paying the price for not doing my homework when selecting a podiatrist. Dr. Lucas did several surgeries on both of my feet when I was wearing an 8 1/2 shoe size. Now after repeated surgeries, I now where a 8 1/2 on the left foot and a 9 on the right. This is no bone in the large toe on the right foot. Whatever he placed in my foot has now broken apart (as seen on x-rays) and from second opinions, there is not much that can be done. The bottom of my right foot is so hard and extended, to the point that I can no longer walk barefooted comfortably and I can no longer wear heels with pointed toes comfortably. I agree with one reviewer when they said he was not very friendly and like another reviewer said that he was trying to support African American businesses. I am very disappointed and in the service I received from this doctor. Again… anyone looking to have any type of foot surgery, do your homework, read their reviews, check with the BBB to see what type of rating they have and ask other people about who they would recommend.

Dr. Lucas was nothing but professional and straight to the point. I love the staff they are SUPER friendly and inviting. My foot surgeries were perfect. It may be a tiny wait but well worth it.

I was in excruciating pain due to running, working out and exercising like I was still in my 30's! A few heel pain treatments got me back up and running like I never skipped a beat. Great service, staff and doctor!

I’ve been going back and forth for several months and I love his staff! They are very compassionate to my needs and concerns! The staff makes you feel very safe and comfortable! The doctor was great during my procedure. He talked me all the way through the process. I give them 5 stars!!!

My appointment was at 2:30. I did not see the Dr until 3:30 or something to 4:00. I did not leave his office until 5:00. Too much....

I went to Dr. Lucas because I was having trouble with a foot fungus, but my visit and experience were both horrible. He barely spoke or communicated with me. He came in and cut my toenails, scraped off some of my skin, and left the room. He never followed up with me, nor gave me a recommendation or wrote a prescription. He sent me a bill for over 6,000 dollars for nail biopsies that I was never told about and without any treatment. I would not recommend his office to anyone. I try to support black-owned operations, but in my honest opinion, he was a horrible excuse for a podiatrist. I would like to fault miscommunication with me never receiving any follow up, but because of his lackluster attitude, I must attribute it to him, as a physician.
