I went to Dr. McLaws for an implant to replace a frontal crown gone bad. First Dr. McLaws said I had an adjacent tooth that had a loose jacket and need replacement. I said OK. When the crown was completed, it didn't go under the gum. You can see the root of the tooth above the crown. I pointed out that to him and he agreed to redo it but later he kept telling me it is ok it is fine and never replaced it. Four months later after the implant was placed I went back to have the abutment and crown put in and what a disaster it was. After all I went through, I went home and my wife told me the crown on the implant has a gap of 1.5 MM away from the adjacent tooth. How in the world any conscientious Dentist sees the crown was a misfit and yet put it into a patient's mouth anyway. Where the Dentistâ??s conscience? Unless he hasn't one for sure. I had two other dentists' second opinions and both said bad quality dentistry. Not only that but the implant was throbbing all the time and made my… adjacent teeth sensitive. Both dentists told to go back to him and correct this real bad quality implant. I went back to him with the two Dentists opinions and finally he redid it. Not to mention that I paid $5,000 for the implant. Never again in this office. We need a Dentist who has a conscience.
