Dr. Nathan Robert Schoeppach, MD

Absolutely outstanding. He is 100% focused on patient centered care. You are part of YOUR health care with him. He listens. He lets you lead. And he educates you, as needed, to come up with the best plan of action. I have switched health care facilities over the years to follow his practice, and I will continue to do so in the future if needed.

Anyone who has ever met Dr. Schoeppach knows he is one of the most thorough, understanding, and kind doctors around. He takes the time with his patients and takes their requests into consideration when coming up with the best course of action. He is TERRIFIC with children and will explain your diagnosis in terms the normal "joe" can understand. I 100% recommend Dr. Schoeppach to anyone looking for a great family doctor. We drive past another hospital system to Ashland just to see him and will continue to do so.

Very moody, makes ultimatums, will not prescribe necessary medication

I appreciated Dr. Schoeppach's respect for me as a person. I did not feel rushed, we talked, and yet the appt time was probably no more than 15 minutes. When I told him I had been taking Golden Seal, he researched it and said, "I can see how it would help with the symptoms you are reporting." I appreciate a physician working with me, honoring my choices (since it is my body), and encouraging me to return if needed.
