Summary
After receiving his degree from Ohio State in 2002, Dr. Swanson worked at an Appalachian non-profit clinic before coming to Portsmouth to serve as the first staff dentist at Families First Health and Support Center. After also working for Lamprey Health and Exeter HealthReach, he associated at a private office in Exeter before settling in Newmarket in 2006. His professional interests include sustainable dental practices, organic reduction of patient anxiety and working with dental coalitions to improve access to care for all. Dr. Nate lives with his wife Rachel, daughters Beatrix and Coraline, and two cats. They enjoy camping, music, film, travel and exploring the history, geography and culinary treasures of the Seacoast. When he's not working in Newmarket, Dr. Swanson can be found solving crosswords, reading and playing darts. He works to improve the community through involvement with his church, the Newmarket Business Associationand the Seacoast Green Alliance.
