Dr. Nathan Ngo Tran, MD

I just started seeing Dr. Tran in Jan. 2018. I have a myriad of health problems and see many specialists. I needed to find a new GP and I am so happy and pleased with Dr. Tran. He is very friendly and makes you feel at ease, as well as being thorough. His nurses are kind, friendly and helpful as well. He LISTENS to what you have to say. I am a very' picky' person when its comes to Drs. I have been to many in the past 35 years that just do not care and have prescribed meds that have put me in the ER. I have also had great drs. that have managed my care with kid gloves. I would and I have, recommended friends that are unhappy with concierge drs or their primary care to see Dr. Tran. My husband and I are both patients.

When my awesome Nurse Practitioner transferred to a sister office closer to her home, I asked for her recommendations as to whom she thought I would best work with at the office, in her absence. She recommended 2 names, a well-reviewed male doctor and a female doctor that I had once had and didn't click with. Didn't want a male as my pcp, so decided to try the female again. Imagine my embarrassment, when Dr. Tran walked in, because the other doc was sick that day, b4 I had finished getting on the table. Years later, I only wish I knew what his first thought was upon finding me standing with my back to the door, wearing only a thong! and I had JUST STARTED wearing them. It can't have been pretty. Oh save me! Despite that mortifying start, I decided minutes later, that I liked him. I went to him for 8 years before moving away. What the other's say is true. He's got a wonderful positive energy that made me glad he went into general practice. He also respected my research and… knowledge and was cool with respecting my preference to try natural healing first. He also paid attention to drug/herb interactions. We were a great team! I had a devastating surgery a few years after meeting him. It left me paralyzed and in intense nerve pain. I needed to get in for my regular annual visit, but was too destroyed to. Don't you know that he actually came to my house to do my annual checkup?!! I will never forget that kindness. Mind, I had to go in after that, usually, but we would consult to a small degree over the phone, via their email system, and, my favorite, through the usps mail! That's a little tip for you out there to get their attention! Include a sase, if you want something back, and your issue will sail right thru the system! Yeah, go to Nate!

Dr Tran has been my daughters pcp since birth, she will be 5 soon! She loves him and has always been comfortable with him. He is great in all aspects and other doctors should definitely take after him. his bedside manners and attention with his patients exceed any ones expectations. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND 100000%

I have been living in the DC metro area for 14years and have rotated through many internists, some of who have made the "top 100" list. However, I have to say that none of them compare to Dr. Tran. He constantly spends a good 20-30 minutes discussing your history, then recommending a course of action. Afterwards, he follows up on lab results and if further consultation is needed. He is young but don't let that fool you - his diagnosis is very good as are his bedside manners. My father is an internist and I'm usually accustomed to getting great attention to my medical needs. I would say that Dr. Tran is as good as it gets in this respect. Highly recommended!

Dr. Tran is by far one of the best physician's my family and I have ever had the privilege of knowing. His bedside manner is excellent and his diagnosis'are always on point. Even though he is a young doctor, he is one of the best in the area. His care goes beyond office etiquette, he genuinely cares.

Good! Very Good Bedside Manner. Youngish, but very efficient; good with technology. Easily diagnoses & gives good recommendations & options for treatments.
