? 1 Star Review Extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Williams at North Texas Orthopedics I’ve been to North Texas Orthopedics before for hip bursitis and had a great experience with another doctor who recommended yoga, physical therapy, and an MRI to better understand what was happening. At the time, I couldn’t afford the MRI but followed through with physical therapy and began incorporating yoga into my daily routine. Fast forward two years — despite my efforts, my hip pain has gotten significantly worse, so I made an appointment with Dr. Williams hoping for updated imaging and next steps. Instead, I was met with the most dismissive and unhelpful attitude I’ve ever experienced from a physician. When I mentioned wanting to proceed with an MRI this time, Dr. Williams told me it would be a “waste of money” and that it wouldn’t show anything beyond what he already knew — insisting that I simply have chronic pain and need to “face the facts.” He offered no compassion, no… treatment suggestions, and no willingness to explore possible causes or relief options. I left feeling completely dismissed and hopeless. It’s deeply concerning that one doctor in the same practice once felt imaging was important for proper diagnosis, while another outright refused it. I would never recommend Dr. Williams to anyone seeking a doctor who listens, cares, or looks for solutions.

I did not have a good experience with Dr Williams or his assistant Tony. I’ll just sum it up with they are rude, arrogant, and think they know it all. Williams continually cut me off as I tried to explain problems after surgery and WOULD NOT listen. Don’t go to him.

Most condescending, arrogant and rude doctor I’ve had the misfortune of encountering. I would have to be on my deathbed before I would go back to see him. He’s like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in his mood swings. Good luck if you catch him on a bad day!

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Williams. I was told by the aide that I needed an x-ray even though I had an x-ray taken 7 weeks ago. Before even seeing Dr. Williams I was told "Dr. Williams will still want his own x-rays." I refused the x-ray saying that I wanted to talk to the Dr. about it. I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes and then left the room and wentI did not have a good experience with Dr. Williams. I was told by the aide that I needed an x-ray even though I had an x-ray taken 7 weeks ago. Before even seeing Dr. Williams I was told "Dr. Williams will still want his own x-rays." I refused the x-ray saying that I wanted to talk to the Dr. about it. I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes and then left the room and went to the check out desk. They told me that 2 more people were ahead of me and it would be at least 20 more minutes before I would see Dr. Williams. I walked out and will not go back.

Waited for a 1:30 appointment for one hour in waiting room, another 30 minutes in the medical room. The wait was not worth the rudeness he showed my 80 year old Mother and Myself. he does not listen to your background of how your pain got started, he just wants to throw out what he thinks the problem is in about 2 minutes. If my Mother was not in a lot of pain that day, I personally would have left just because of the wait time. Not including the Rudeness he showed to both patient and Caretaker of patient. If you can, Run, don't Walk away from this arrogant Doctor. Rick M

Excellent doctor! Listens and advises without ego involved.

In my opinion, Dr. Williams is the rudest, most unprofessional doctor thatI have ever seen. He made me cry on more than one occasion with his rudeness and mean and arrogant attitude. I would never recommend him to anyone nor would I ever see him again. He made unprofessional remarks about another doctor. I had a bad surgery from one of the doctors there and he, another doctor along with the the other surgeon lied in my patient records. I took someone with me to see what my appts. were like, she saw my records , as she was there many times and agreed that all three of them lied and resulting in my not being able to get any other doctor to even look at the problem due to the fear of liability issues. Understandable. My tibia is bent, my leg is atrophied and I am pigeon toed now and have to have assistance walking. I have had 5 years of this constant pain and no relief in sight. I find it very sad that doctor's have so much power over a person's future and can get away with… this behavior.

Horrible and insensitive doctor. Would never recommend him to anyone. He is very rude and tries to be a know it all instead of spending time getting to know why the patient is there. RUN! DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME!

Absolutely wonderful!! I had my knee and hip replaced. Both are perfect. Could not have asked for better.

Treated me just like family. Wonderful doctor and I have not only seen him but had family see him also.
