Nathan Josiah Holtzman, PMHNP-BC, ADHD-CCSP

Hello, I am Nathaniel Holtzman, a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. I am certified in both California and Arizona.

As a member of the American Psychological Association, I network with other professionals and stay up-to-date on the latest resources that are offered in the field of mental health. I also have membership with the Neuroscience Education Institute in which I frequently access extensive online education. With a love for psychopharmacology I am constantly striving for a better understanding and recently completed the Neuroscience Education Institute’s Master psychopharmacology course. I have experience treating people with a variety of mental health challenges including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and panic attacks. I work with each individual to find a personalized approach.

As a healthcare professional, I have a holistic approach. I meet with each client to see how the client has been managing challenges …so we can determine what lifestyle changes in combination with therapy and medication would benefit them best. I address how diet, exercise, sleep hygiene, and stress management affect mental health. I am flexible to try different medications with my clients as we work together to find what is most comfortable for them.  I feel each person should live their fullest life, and addressing mental health challenges can allow each person to continue the journey they want to pursue. I want my clients to not just survive but thrive!

I am also accepting new clients who are looking to meet with a mental health professional for the first time. I offer psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and brief talk therapy in conjunction with medication management. I see patients in a telehealth setting, so you do not have to leave the comforts of your home to get help.
