Phenominal staff & absolutely amazing doctor. Dr. Merrell was polite and respectful from the moment he walked into the room. I left my appointment wishing he was my primary care, specialist doctors and everything else all rolled into one! If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Merrell, then you are in very good hands.

When my breast biopsy came back negative, Dr. Merrell said it was 99.99percent correct , but he thought it did not look just right . He was correct. I have since had a mastectomy and will undergo chemo. Who knows what would have happened if Dr. Merrell had just accepted the results of the biopsy. Dr. Merrell to me is the best doctor that I have known. Also 2 years ago he did an emergency operation on my husband at midnight. We feel it saved his life! Dr. Merrell is exceptional!! I can not praise him enough. He also has a wonderful staff.

Dr. Merrell is a terrific doctor. I first had him as my surgeon in 2004. There was a complication, Dr. Merrell had found out about when he returned and didn't stop investigating the cause until he got answers to what happened. Most doctors would have let it go, but he didn't. He checked on me daily while I was in the hospital and kept me updated. I have since had him for myself and for my husband and other family members also go to him. He is considered the "family surgeon". He has the greatest bedside manner and is the most caring and thoughtful doctor one could ask for. I will not go to anyone else, when I found a lump in my breast and told to contact a surgeon I replied I have one, Dr. Merrell. There is no one better.

All I can say is that he came highly recommended and I owe everything to him for helping me on an emergency basis and relieving my pain. His bedside manner is amazing and made me feel very comfortable with my uncomfortable situation.

Dr. Merrell has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever come in contact with. He is easy to talk to, encourages questions, and explains things thoroughly in a way you'll understand. I wish he was a primary care specialist as well!
