Dr. Nathaniel Sasson

I saw Dr. Sasson a few years ago because I needed a crown and some fillings. He was so nice and did a great job on my post and crown. The fillings he put in however were silver- which he did not confirm with me before- but I didn't mind too much because overall it was a positive experience. I went to another dentist for the next few years, but she eventually quit the practive- so I figured I would go back to Dr. Sasson. Why not. Well..... I went there for my bi-annual check up, x rays and cleaning. I got the x-rays done, and went in for the check up. Dr. Sasson looked around pretty quickly, looked at my x rays pretty quickly and then started I guess the cleaning? He scraped one tooth with a dental pick, blew some air in my mouth, spritzed my teeth for literally 1 minute with whatever they use that has some kind of baking soda solution mixed with water and air and said "everything looks good, not much tartar". I was the last appointment of the day and I ran a little late getting there… because of traffic. I assumed they had skipped my cleaning because I was late, so when I went to check out at the front desk I asked to schedule my cleaning. To my utter SHOCK she told me he did do a cleaning. Mind you- I got to this appt. at 5:35, and was checking out at 5:55. Have you ever heard of getting x-rays, a check up and a cleaning in 20 minutes? I asked the receptionist if she is sure that was a cleaning and she said she thought so but she would go back and check. She came back and told me yes- he said he gave you a cleaning, a check up AND SCALING! For some full disclosure- my mom is a dental office manager and used to be a dental assistant. My first job was in a dental office. This is actually and genuinely dishonest and sort of a scam! I am so shocked and disappointed. I have never had a dentist perform a "cleaning" on me and I am 40 years old. I have never missed a dental appt. in my life, so I am not new to this world. It is always a hygienist who performs this. Now I can't get a cleaning for another 6 months due to my insurance policy. It was honestly a crazy and surreal experience. Maybe they thought I was younger than I am and didn't know the difference between a cleaning and a quick glance- I have no idea. But I will never go back to him again and I would never recommend anyone to go to this practice. It is extremely unethical and very crappy think to do to someone who is trusting you with their teeth and oral hygiene.

is very caring , is on time, easy in and out, the last time i was there i was out in a breeze, the prices are reasonable. walkins are even better off.
