I am a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I work with teens and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and other mental health conditions.I believe strongly in inclusivity and providing a space where every client can feel understood, respected, and empowered. I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions, and taking an active role in their treatment. I believe mental health care works best when clients feel ownership over their progress and when the provider offers structure, education, and support rooted in evidence-based guidelines.The first session with a new client is thorough but conversational. I take time to learn your story, review your medical history, and understand your current concerns. We’ll go over past and current medications—what worked, what didn’t, and what side effects you’ve experienced—so we can make informed decisions moving forward. I’ll also explore your goals, daily functioning, and what “feeling …better” would realistically look like for you.
