Highly recommended and trusted physician. Our experience with Dr. Naveen Gara has been nothing short of amazing. His knowledge, approachability, and can genuine care have been a breath of fresh air in today’s health care scene. Life is precious and fragile at the same time, especially as we take care of our families and loved ones. Dr. Gara is the doctor for me and my dad's. During the time of panic when a CT scan revealed a mass in my dad's stomach, Dr. Gara and his team was fast in getting my dad the care that he needed. The staff reassured my family and I that my dad will get the proper care and intervention he needed. This gave our family the calm during a violent storm. That reassurance was given by Dr. Gara himself when he met with my dad and my mom at his office, which gave our family the confidence to move on forward with hope. He was informative, considerate, and knowledgeable – a combination that is somehow rare today. After confirming a diagnosis from a colonoscopy done… by the doctor himself, Dr. Gara's composure, awareness, and expertise gave us peace in a very difficult situation. Dr. Gara acted in time and knew to put forward a call to one of the best surgeons he knew. And because of Dr. Gara's wise and fast actions, my dad received the proper and timely care he needed and was able to save his life from pain, obstructions, and worsening condition. That’s not the only thing! Amazingly, Dr. Gara continues to follow up with my dad's care months after his surgery. We trust Dr. Gara completely. Respectable and dependable, I too became his patient recently. At the time I needed expert advice about another family member going through a complicated matter, his staff directed me to Dr. Gara himself, who went out of his way to give his wise medical perspective on another difficult situation. Dr. Gara has consistently gone above and beyond for our family. And I suspect we are not the only ones that he does this to. We enthusiastically recommend him to anyone and everyone! Doctor was two hours late for the procedure. No food or drink for 8 hours in preparation. Never ever have I had to wait this length of time. Horrible experience for the patient.
