Dr. Navjot Nikky Redpath

Nikky Redpath is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana. She has over 15 year of experience counseling children and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, personal issues, attention deficit hyperactivity, behavioral issues, self-esteem, and grief and loss. Nikky completed her Bachelors in Psychology and her Masters in Education focusing in Human Services Counseling both at the University of New Orleans. In counseling, Nikky utilizes cognitive behavioral, Rogerian, solution focused, and strengths-based approaches to helping the client reach his or her goals. With children Nikky also may use behavioral techniques along with the other approaches. In addition, flexibility and trust are needed in therapy. Nikky creates an environment which the client feels safe, trust, unconditional positive regard with the therapeutic relationship. The environment allows the client to express themselves and can expect to be respected, especially with their privacy.
