She kept trying to get me to go down on this one medication. I did and had a horrible reaction. Then I found a psychiatrist who was a professor of psychiatry at Johns Hopkins and he said "why did she keep trying to get you to go off this med? You need to go up on that med."

I have never had a doctor ditch me. It was crazy. I have a Masters degree and am bipolar and borderline. I got upset in a way that I do all the time, and she decided I was too difficult to handle. I was having a really hard time with the bad med changes that she made for me and she ignored that I was scared and having physical symptoms of med change, deciding I was just really borderline. I was having a hard time, and she crossed me off as crazy and ran away. She is not like a normal psychiatrist--or maybe it is just the epidemic of having bad psychiatrists in this country. I do not recommend her for borderline or bipolar patients. Also, you need a password to read the email she sends you, which is not good if you have concentration issues. You cannot even see the past email you wrote using the email program she makes you use. I really liked her in the beginning and trusted her, which is why is was so much more bazar when she ditched me. When she told me we were no longer… working together, she sent a letter of termination, which I have never gotten from another mental health professional. All around awful experience.
