You have to watch out for yourself all the time. Fighting among patients all the time! Night shift is the worst. The lady that gives out medicine is very racist! Very rude! Always coming in your room during the night flipping all the lights on! Trust me you cannot wait to get out!!!

Conditions at this so called hospital are really bad! There is constant turmoil! There is actual fighting going on amount patients! You have to watch out for yourself all the time! The night shift is the worst! Especially the lady that gives out medicine on night shift! Very racist! Do not go there!!!!!

Worst experience of my life. I knew within minutes of being voluntarily admitted that this wasn't a right fit for my needs and immediately said so. I was stalled, and pushed around for two excruciating days. Finally, a family member intervened and also told Oceans that an attorney was on retainer to resolve this, and I was finally discharged within 3 hours. Then I went to UT Southwest-Zale Lipshy in Dallas where I was treated professionally and got the help I desperately needed The only place I can compare this to is "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest". If you're not insane when you get here, you will be after they keep you and drain your insurance. I smelled urine everywhere, the staff openly mocked and made fun of several patients in the common area.The so called "group therapy" sessions were worse than a kindergarten class. ALL my freedoms were taken away immediately upon admission and I couldn't leave no matter how hard I tried. There was screaming and moaning from the patients… constantly. Most of which was ignored by the staff. Thankfully I had someone I could call for help, but only during a small window of time when phone calls were allowed each day. If you have depression, or ANYTHING other than advanced dementia, this isn't the place for you. In fact, I wouldn't send someone here even with dementia, because they just DON'T CARE. If I could give a negative star rating, I would.

The doctor and social workers were great. But the experience was horrible. I was locked up with dangerous dangerously disturbed people and left there more anxious and nervous then when I came in.
