He is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease and holds a national position as a member of the Training and Workforce committee. He is also a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association.

Communication with Dr. Patel's office was notably effortless, as I was able to work with them over the phone and via email to provide my information and set up an appointment. The preparatory medication was readily available at my local pharmacy and easy to use, thanks to the clear instructions given by the office staff. I felt fully prepared for my appointment as a result. On the day of the procedure, I found the staff to be highly professional and efficient. They made sure I was well informed about each step of the process, which made me feel valued and at ease. Dr. Patel's post-procedure explanation of his findings was very thorough. The takeaway printout of these findings, a detail not typically offered by other providers I've seen, was greatly appreciated and an evidence of his commitment to… patient understanding and transparency. The efficiency continued even after the procedure, with the expectation of receiving pathology results within just a few days. This efficient, patient-focused care from Dr. Patel and his team has earned them my highest recommendation.
