This doctor was off hand, uninterested and in a rush to leave for the weekend so unconcerned about patient wellbeing.

I went to Dr. Doudikian-Scaff for breast reconstruction (TRAM flap] and am pleased with the results. I found her kind, thoughtful and professional, and the surgical teams she works with at Glendale Adventists and Huntington Memorial were top-notch. (I had procedures at both). She is honest about the limitations of the surgery -- and whether you're a good candidate or not -- and the difficulty of the recovery. I had numerous follow-up appointments to make sure everything was heaIing properly. Dr. Doudikian-Scaff does not do DIEP reconstruction, but if you're looking for implants or the TRAM flap surgery, I would recommend her.

I had never received any cosmetic procedures prior to Dr. Nayiri Doudikian-Scaff; I have been a loyal patient since 2007. I went in for my appointment fully educated, with realistic expectations and many questions - and a little nervous. Dr. Doudikian-Scaff attentively listens, is professional and personable. The Doctor is known for her skillful breast reconstruction technique with cancer survivors. I went in during a very stressful time in my life, to reclaim the suppleness of my face. I began with a little Botox, loved the result and returned for Obagi skinscare (made a huge difference in clarity, firmness, and texture). Feeling more confident, I asked for a series of Juvaderm injections - the Doctor's skill is amazing!! She talked with me about the layers of my face, clarifying what I wanted to achieve and what was possible. The Doctor skillfully sculpted my face over time: my cheeks have subtle volume, my lips look as they did at 16 and my eye area is beautifully sculpted. No one… knows for certain, unless I mention it - though I was able to model up to age 36. Now, at 40, I still see the beautiful results, and have retained the contours of the face I was born with. I highly recommend Dr. Nayiri Doudikian-Scaff.

Dr. Doudikian's expertise is limited to cosmetic surgery for those who are insecure about their appearance. She does not understand 'real' reconstructive surgery- for those who have lost their breasts to cancer and need true reconstruction. She is not knowledgeable on the techniques and options available for those beyond her area of knowledge. She was very rude and condescending toward me when I visited her office, pointing out that because I carry a few extra pounds, I could not benefit from having my breasts reconstructed because I would still be overweight. I left her office feeling like something that was scaped off the bottom of her shoe. I have been fortunate enough to survive breast cancer twice in my life. I have never had the opportunity to have my breasts reconstructed. Dr. Doudikian made me feel that my body is so bad that I would be wasting my time to try to fix it. She is a mean spirited little person, and I have been fortunate enough to over-come this visit with her… and go forward to find a 'real' surgeon. Her staff was courteous and an appointment can be made the same day. No wonder- people are not lining up at her door. Her shop should be in a mall between a pedicure shop and a wig salon.

Dr. Doudikian is an excellent surgeon! She has exceptional bedside manners, and is an artist. She performed my breast reduction/lift surgery almost four years ago, and I couldn't be happier! She is professional, caring, and sweet. I highly recommend this surgeon!
