Dr. Nazanin Moghbeli, MD

I went to Dr. Moghbeli in 2012. I had blood pressure readings that were going up and down with and tachycardia. She took a urine sample that showed I had some protein in my urine and did a holter monitor. She quickly diagnosed me with a kidney problem (which was incorrect), told me I would have problems ever being able to carry a child through full term pregnancy and sent me off to a kidney doctor with a medication that I didn't need. She didn't even do a simple echocardiogram or even a chest xray. I did carry a child successfully to term DESPITE having an AORTIC ANEURYSM which I was unaware of because Dr. Moghbeli DID NOT PERFORM THE BASIC TESTS. I am told by my new cardiologist that I am lucky to have survived the pregnancy and child birth.

Dr Moghbeli is amazing. The first time I saw Dr. Moghbeli was when I was pregnant for my first son and was referred to her to check my heart for a condition I was born with. Dr. Moghbeli really took the time to understand my condition, make sure my pregnancy continued on as healthy, and really cared for my well being. I saw her a few times after, and then again when I was pregnant for my second son. This time I had encountered some new issues and Dr. Moghbeli ran tests that I had never had in my life before for my condition. She had me gets these tests because everything that showed in my routine EKGs and echocardiograms came back as normal, but Dr. Moghbeli knew there was something more happening. After getting the new, non typical tests, we found out I had a whole different issue then the one I had been treated for my whole life. Thank goodness for Dr. Moghbeli not just saying that everything in my normal test looked fine and telling me to go on my way like all of my doctors… in the past had done. Dr. Moghbeli is truly amazing and a wonderful wonderful doctor. I saw Dr. Moghbeli while she was with Penn, and I hope I am able to still she her since he as moved to the Bala Cynwyd medical assoc.

First( and only) appointment I brought in all the meds I was taking for my prior heart attack. I was tired and ill from them and needed her help.She stopped me and said she was a heart doctor.I told her I knew that, but that the meds for my HEART were causing distress. She told me to cut one of them in half and to see her in a YEAR!
