Dr. Nazik Nafeel Al-Hashimi, MD

Dr. Nazik Al-Hashimi, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a strong foundation in primary care and biomedical research. She earned her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science in Biomedical Research from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the City University of New York. Dr. Al-Hashimi completed her Family Medicine residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, where she later served as an attending physician providing outpatient care both in-person and via telehealth. Her clinical interests are complemented by a robust research background, including projects on smoking cessation, patient experience, and diagnostic case studies. She has presented at national conferences such as AAFP FMX and MSSNY. Dr. Al-Hashimi has also contributed to community health through various volunteer roles and maintains active memberships in the AAFP, ACP, and AAP. Outside of medicine, she enjoys the outdoors, reading books, …and spending time with family.
